This class is for teachers of any style or anyone involved with pregnant women who want to
teach a safe and effective on- going prenatal yoga class.
In this workshop you will acquire the following skills:
-How to teach a multi-level prenatal class
-How to teach around back issues during pregnancy
-How to integrate the baby into the practice
-How to address relaxation and imagery and much more

About the Instructor
Carmela is a pioneer of prenatal yoga in Boston. Carmela has taught prenatal yoga since 1994 in a variety of venues. She began studying yoga in 1980and is a Kripalu certified instructor. She has studiedextensively at the Iyengar Center in Somerville MA., and integrates Iyengar alignment with the fluidity of Kripalu movement. Carmela helps peopleaccess their source energy for more awareness and healthful living. She incorporates her nursingbackground in her teaching to ensure a safe and grounded experience.
